In addition to the latest AspireRevo, the Aspire Timeline and the 11.6-inch Aspire One netbook, Acer has announced today the new Aspire 8935, 4935 and 3935 portable computer systems. Each of the three new models is meant for a different market segment, as they boast a different form factor, namely 18.4-inch, 15.6-inch and 13.3-inch, respectively. All systems are based on Intel's technology and are meant to provide users with a unique computing experience while they are on the road.

Starting with the more portable 13.3-inch Aspire 3935, Acer has designed a laptop based on Intel's GM45 Express chipset with 3D integrated graphics and support for Core 2 Duo processor. The system offers support for up to 4GB of DDR3 1066MHz memory and comes equipped with a 13.3-inch HD 1366x768 LCD, featuring Acer's CineCrystal technology. In addition, the laptop, which will be available with or without an optical drive, comes fully prepared for future communication technologies. The Aspire 3935 offers support for Wi-Fi, WiMAX and 3G wireless connectivity, enabling users to stay connected almost everywhere they go. According to Acer, this model can provide up to 8 hours of battery life with an 8-cell battery pack.

As for the new Aspire 5935 and Aspire 8935, the company also made use of Intel's processor technology, which has been combined with support for up to 4GB of DDR3 memory and up to 1TB of storage space for the Aspire 8935, which can use a dual-HDD configuration (the Aspire 5935 can only support a single HDD with 500GB of storage). As with the 3935, these two systems can be equipped with the latest wireless technologies, including 802.11 b/g/Draft-N, Bluetooth 2.0 and WiMAX. Additional features include Gigabit Ethernet and modem, 6-in-1 card reader, integrated Acer Crystal Eye webcam, Acer Video Conference Manager Software and the optional Acer Xpress VoIP phone. You can also expect a Full HD 1080p resolution (for the Aspire 8935) and Bio-protection.
