World’s second notebook manufacturer, well-known company Acer has apparently already started shipping a new 21.5” FullHD monitor with LED backlighting. This new model comes with a very slim body size and only measures 14 millimeters in thickness.

That’s about 0.55 inches and it shows that Acer has managed to offer a very slim display device by giving up the classic CCFL lamps and using LED technology instead.

The body is painted in standard black, but the monitor base is X-shaped.

Acer’s G226HQLBii FullHD LED computer monitor has a standard 16:9 aspect ratio and sports the FullHD rated resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels.

The response time is a decent 5 milliseconds and the power consumption is a very low 22 watts.

Acer’s G226HQLBi FullHD LED computer monitor has a 1000:1 real contrast ratio with a maximum brightness of 250 cm / sqm.

Connectivity-wise, Acer’s G226HQLBi FullHD LED computer monitor comes with two HDMI ports and one simple D-SUB 15 connector.
