They’re back behind Hewlett-Packard again, in the first quarter

When it comes to the total shipments in the first quarter of 2012, well-known notebook manufacturer Acer is back being the second-largest notebook vendor according to IDC.

Lenovo was a bit ahead Acer since last summer, but it’s back again on the third place.

The “lots of Intel” policy from Dell doesn’t seem to have done too much good to the company’s market share, as they’re still down to number four on the list.

Asustek Computer is fifth on the list, with just 1% behind Dell and that’s quite an achievement for the Taiwanese well-known motherboard manufacturer.
