Officially introduced in Europe earlier this week, Acer’s Iconia Tab A510 is expected to hit shelves next month in France. However, Android enthusiasts living in France will only be able to purchase the Wi-Fi version of the slate for 399 EUR (525 USD).

Acer Iconia Tab 510 will be available in two colors schemes, silver and black, along with a range of accessories that have yet to be detailed. There’s no telling when exactly the Iconia Tab A510 makes it to other European countries.

The same goes for North America, which is an important market for Acer’s tablets. The folks over at Phandroid spotted the slate at FCC (Federal Communications Commission), which might indicate that Acer plans to release the Iconia Tab A510 shortly after the European version hits shelves.

No clue whether or not this one will be picked by a US-based major carrier or it will be available via all leading retailers across the country. The good news is that the tablet might go a bit cheaper in the States, in comparison with the European market.

Feature-wise, Acer Iconia Tab A510 is positioned immediately after Iconia Tab A700, which was unveiled last month. The only difference between the two slates is the display.

While Iconia Tab A700 comes with a 10.1-inch full HD (1080p) capacitive touchscreen display that supports 1920 x 1080p resolution, the Iconia Tab A510’s screen supports only a 1280 x 800 pixels resolution.

Both tablets are powered by Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 chipset. On the inside, Iconia Tab A510 packs either 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of internal memory. There’s also 1GB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion.

On the back, the slate sports a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, as well as video recording, while in the front there’s a secondary camera for video calls.
