The company decides not to bother with those three and focus on future devices instead

Maybe it's because of how ASUS updated its Transformer Pad Infinity and Transformer Prime tablets, but we fully expected Acer to update its existing lineup to Jelly Bean too.

This won't happen. The company has decided to only update the Iconia Tab A700 and will only follow up with firmware upgrades for A210 and A510.

Everyone else will just have to settle for Android 4.0, like they've been doing up to now, unless they are brave enough to risk applying custom ROMs.

The modding community for the Iconia Tab A100, A200 and A500 is quite large, and there already are Source-Built Jelly Bean packages for the Iconia Tab A100 and Iconia Tab A500.

They're not perfect though, so only try them if you really can't stand Android 4.0 anymore, for some reason or other.
