It appears that Acer's collection of tablets is more extensive than one may have originally guessed, as yet another Iconia-branded product was found and pictured at the company's MWC 2011 booth.

The Mobile World Congress expo is a trade show that happens every year, just like CES (Consumer Electronics Show), CeBIT and Computex are yearly events.

On these occasions, IT companies from around the world come to flaunt their latest inventions and to try and secure the interest of the consumer market.

Acer seems to be among those more determined, as it brought several electronics at the event, like Iconia Tab A500, Tab W500 and even the Aspire one 522 Fusion laptop.

Apparently, the outfit also has the Iconia tab A100 on display, which one of our colleagues on the site was able to spot and take a few pictures of.

Essentially, it is a 7-inch (1,024 x 600 pixel resolution) tablet based on the now easily recognizable combination of NVIDIA hardware and Google software.

To be more specific, it is powered by the NVIDIA Tegra 250 ARM-based dual-core SoC (system-on-chip) and runs the Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) OS.

In other words, it should be able to handle any multimedia and web browsing tasks, not to mention anything else in the way of document editing, etc.

The small, incomplete spec sheet displayed alongside the unit makes a point of mentioning the full web browser with Flash 10.1 support, as well as the 5+ point multitouch and gyroscope sensor.

With the above to provide a nice gaming experience, Acer also threw in the clear.fi technology, which lets one share and stream multimedia to other devices.

Of course, those that want to play HD content on a HDTV need only make use of the built-in HDMI.

It is unknown when sales will start, or at what price, but it was revealed that two versions would be delivered. The Acer Iconia Tab A100, will have WiFi, while the Iconia Tab A101 will have 3G as well.

Note: Fellow editors Cosmin Vasile and Alex Vochin are on the floor at the 2011 Mobile World Congress and are keeping us posted with pictures and live reports on the latest product previews and launches.
