The slate won’t arrive in other markets except Acer’s home land

Acer didn't take long before unveiling its latest tablet. It’s a new member of the Iconia family, which they have dubbed the One7 (model number TD070VA1).

The slate has been launched in Acer’s home country in Taiwan and most likely we won’t be seeing it on the international market (via Sogi).

As you might have guessed, this is a budget tablet, so you won’t be finding anything spectacular with this model. The Iconia One7 has a 7-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 600 pixels and is powered by a dual-core Cortex A9 processor clocked at 1GHz combined with 1GB of RAM.

The tablet offers 16GB of internal storage (with the possibility to expand until 32GB), dual cameras (1.9MP on the back and VGA front-facing camera), micro USB 2.0, microHDMI port and 3.5mm audio jack.

The Acer Iconia One7 is a Wi-Fi only tablet, so unlike most budget slates arriving on the Asian market, it doesn't have a SIM card slot or support for cellular networks.

You’ll be finding Android 4.2 Jelly Bean onboard, while everything is powered by a 3000 mAh battery said to last a meager 3.5 hours of full HD video playback.

The Acer Iconia A7 is pretty atypical in terms of design. The metal part that can be spotted on the bottom of the back cover is actually the speaker grill, while the rest is made of plastic. The microSD card is oddly positioned at the bottom of the device, too.

Anyway the Acer Iconia One7 will cost only $107 / €78 in Taiwan, but sadly it won’t make it on the international market too.
