Asus and Acer are expected to announce new smartphones and tablets next week at Computex 2015 technology trade show.

We already reported on Asus ZenPad 8 tablet and Zenfone Selfie smartphone, which leaked ahead of their official announcement, but now it looks like one of Acer's devices has popped up online as well.

The so-called Acer Iconia One 7 is said to be the cheapest Android tablet launched by the company. As mentioned earlier, the slate will be officially unveiled next week at Computex 2015, but it might take some time until it gets released.

According to WinFuture.de, the tablet might be a smaller version of the Iconia One 8, which should already be available on the market.

Unfortunately, the only certain thing we know about Acer Iconia One 7 is that it will ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system right out of the box.

More than a dozen pictures of the upcoming tablet have been leaked as well, which indicate that Iconia One 7 will be available on the market in at least two color options: black and blue & white.

A smaller version of Iconia One 8?

Since this is the downsized version of Iconia One 8, let's see what this tablet has to offer. Perhaps the Iconia One 7 will pack similar specs but a smaller screen.

First of all, as the name suggests, Iconia One 7 will sport a 7-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display. The resolution is unknown, but the Iconia One 8's screen supports 800 x 1280 pixels resolution.

Hardware-wise, the Iconia One 8 comes with a 1.8GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735G processor, which is complemented by 1GB of RAM and either 16GB or 32GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

On the back, the tablet packs a 5-megapixel camera with video recording, while in the front there's a secondary VGA camera for selfies.

Some of these features might be included in the Iconia One 7 as well. We will know for sure next week when Acer is expected to make it official, so stay tuned.
