The world's third PC vendor, Acer, decided today to update its entire lineup of computer systems with the addition of a couple of new models, including the highly anticipated NVIDIA Ion-based AspireRevo, formerly known as the Acer Hornet. One of the company's latest products comes in the form of the new Aspire Z5600 and the eMachines-branded EZ1600 all-in-one PCs. Both products are designed for a different market segment, with the eMachines system featuring nettop hardware, while the Aspire Z5600 comes as a fully grown, 24-inch AIO PC, ready to take on Apple's iMac and every other high-end all-in-one PC that is currently available on the market.

Acer's new EZ1600 boasts an 18.5-inch 16:9 screen and has up to 720p resolution, being featured with Intel's Atom N270 processor and the 945GSE chipset. The system boasts two SO-DIMM memory slots and can be equipped with a netbook-class 160GB HDD. It comes with integrated Wi-Fi and card reader and it will be available in both black and silver chassis. Overall, the system looks ready to provide users with a low-power all-in-one computing experience and will likely compete with similar solutions from ASUS and MSI.

With the new Aspire Z5600, Acer decided to take things a step further and deliver a product that would seriously give Apple's iMac a run for its money. It boasts a large 1080p-capable 24-inch display with multitouch capabilities and an integrated TV Tuner. Despite no word on the system's processing unit, we are told that the Z5600 will provide support for up to 2TB of storage space and will be equipped with a combo DVD/Blu-ray optical drive.

Currently we have no official details on the pricing of Acer's new All-in-Ones, but, according to the company's press release, the Z5600 is designed to provide users with an affordable AIO computing experience and is ready for Microsoft's next-generation Windows 7 operating system.
