Acer has yet to officially announce the upcoming availability of its first smartphone with native Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on board, Acer CloudMobile.

The smartphone that won the latest iF design award, Acer Cloud Mobile is expected to be officially introduced at this year’s Mobile World Congress trade fair.

Although Acer confirmed that the phone will be available on the market sometime in Q3 2012, along with its new Acer Cloud service, the company has yet which countries will get it first.

According to Digitimes, it looks like North America and China will be getting the Acer Cloud service and the CloudMobile smartphone in Q2 2012, followed by other regions.

Acer Cloud is a personal computing service, which allows users to manage documents or play music and video files store on a PC directly from an Acer smartphone while on the go.
