After taking a look at Acer's 27-inch 3D PC monitor, it's now about time to check out yet another one of their display-related offerings, namely the C112 pico-projector, that delivers some pretty OK projection capabilities in a very small and portable form factor.

The C112 projector is, in fact, extremely small and lightweight, measuring just around 137x91.5 mm and weighing only 220 grams (7.75 ounces), which means that it might really come in handy for those users typically spending a lot of time on the go.

And since we're on the topic of portability, it's also interesting to point out that Acer's new pico projector can also be equipped with an extra battery (available as a separate option), that grants it quite an impressive functioning life, of up to two full hours.

Now, moving on the device's imaging capabilities, it's interesting to mention that the C112 pico-projector can generate images in 16:9 format with diagonal sizes ranging between 38cm (15 inches) and 254cm (100 inches).

Moreover, it offers an 1000:1 image contrast, WVGA (854 X 480) resolution, as well as built-in speakers, so that users will be able to fully leverage the “no computer required” USB Slide Show and USB multimedia functions, available via the projector's built-in USB connector.

Similar to most other pico-projectors out there, the C112 makes very good use of a LED light source, but the device from Acer also packs DLP technology, which leads to some interesting improvements in the field of image quality.

Additionally, the device also sports a Quick Start feature, meaning that it will start working within 15 seconds after being switched on.

Obviously, there's no pricing and/or availability info regarding the new C112 pico-projector provided for the time being, but we'll certainly do our best in order to come up with more interesting info on this topic in the near future.
