A few days ago, we reported on Acer's decision to start contributing more to the preservation of the environment.

The company was going to start recycling plastic and use it in the making of new products.

Now we have the first monitors built according to this plan: the B6 and V6 series.

Both lines are made for business users and have housings made of post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic.

The B6 line has 19-inch to 27-inch displays, while the V6 goes from 17 inches to 27 inches. The resolutions are of up to 1920 x 180 pixels.

All monitors have mercury- and arsenic-free screens, plus energy-efficient LED backlighting.

Sales of both collections will start at some point this month, so check with local retailers or online stores for the prices of each.
