Acer, one of the world's top three vendors on the PC market, has just announced the debut of its new H235H premium display product, coming to complement the company's updated line of M5, M3 and X3-series of desktop computer systems. The new high-definition, 23-inch display comes to provide users with a cinematic quality and a sleek, new design, taking advantage of the features of Acer's latest desktop computer systems. The monitor brings a couple of new technologies and provides support for the latest connectivity options, including the mainstream VGA and DVI, as well as HDMI.

“The elegant new H235H display combines advanced technology and features for a supreme cinematic entertainment experience,” Stephanie Eggert, senior manager, retail desktop product planning for Acer America, said. “Our newest Aspire desktops are a blend of visually appealing aesthetics and convenient functionality that’s sure to impress even the most selective buyers. Not only are the systems elegant in form, but they are efficient in function with user-friendly features that maximize time and space.”

Designed to complete the PC vendor's latest desktop offerings, Acer's H235H display comes in a widescreen 23-inch format and features support for full-HD 1920 x 1080 (1080p) resolutions. Among some of the features that have been enabled on the new display, Acer has highlighted the new SensorTouch technology featuring LED illuminated controls that replace the traditional buttons present on most LCD monitors. Aside from its practicability, this feature also enhances the display's overall visual design, providing a sleek alternative to other 23-inch displays on the market.

With an MSRP price tag of US$239,99 and featuring inputs for VGA, DVI and HDMI, the new H235H LCD from Acer will provide users with a 2ms response time, 300 cd/m2 brightness and a 100,000:1 Max (ACM) contrast ratio. According to Acer, the new display should be available later next month.
