Acer is not yet done with the AiO announcement, having prepared what can be seen as a pair or redesigned Aspire Revo 3700 nettops bearing the Veriton brand and known as the N281G and N282G.
The newcomers are powered by the Intel Pine Trail platform and are aimed for use in the office, since they focus on productivity tasks instead of raw performance.
The Veriton N282G is, as one would expect, the more powerful of the two, having a configuration centered around the Atom D525 central processing unit.
This CPU is backed up by 2 GB of RAM and the NVIDIA Ion 2 GPU, which is, in fact, its prime asset, as it provides support for advanced multimedia and even casual gaming.
The nettop also comes equipped with a hard disk drive whose internal capacity is of 320 GB.
There are also D-Sub and HDMI connectors, as well as a multi-card reader, Gigabit Ethernet and 802.11 b/g/n WiFi.
The Veriton N281G shares many of its sibling's hardware options, only it has the weaker Intel Atom D425 chip and the GMA 3150 integrated graphics.
"The convenience, price and performance of our Veriton nettop has been well-received by the commercial market,” said Leila Axelle Robert, Acer Commercial Systems Business Manager.
“In addition to making our existing product more robust, we've enhanced the line with a model designed for environments where high-def playback is popular, such as libraries, schools, research centers and digital signage shops," she added.
"Whether they're placed upright with their retractable stand or attached to the rear of a display, the nettop keeps a low profile. It's a smart choice for those whose top priorities are performance, space and value," she went on to saying.
The Veriton N281G and N282G will sell for $399 and $449, respectively, starting this month.
