Based on the Ace Combat beloved franchise, Namco Bandai's Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation is an Xbox 360 exclusive game. It was
released on the 23rd of October 2007 in North America, the 1st of November 2007 in Japan, the 23rd of November of 2007 in Europe and the 13th of December in Australia. The arcade style flight/combat simulation video game was well received by the community.
The release follows the war between the fictional Republic of Emmeria and the Federal Republic of Estovakia on the Anean continent taking place in 2015. The player steps into the shoes of Talisman and has to prove he is a good pilot who can change the fate of the war. The cutscenes in the game merge from time to time, presenting the whole plot from different perspectives.
