AccuWeather for Android Update Adds Nexus 7 Support and More

One of the most popular weather apps for Android platform, AccuWeather has just received a new update that adds support for more devices.

In addition, the latest update includes some bug fixes and new content that will offer users more options for their favorite weather application.

First of all, AccuWeather for Android now supports Nexus 7 tablets. Secondly, the latest version of the application includes a new (optional), larger widget with the clock.

Developers also introduced simplified permissions as well as some bug fixes. The update fixes the rare maps issue on devices powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

Several other defect fixes including notifications, display and performance have been included as well.

AccuWeather 2.1.4 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.0.1 and up.
