Abyss Odyssey, a side-scrolling action adventure game developed by ACE Team and published ATLUS, will be getting a Linux version on Steam soon.

The ATLUS publisher doesn't have any Linux games under its belt and this might be the first for them. There is no indication regarding the launch date, but it might take a while. The Windows version has been released for a little over a month now, and it already gathered a few patches.

"Enter the bold Katrien, the tortured specter Ghost Monk, and the ethereal Pincoya. Use the characters to perform combos, chaining attacks and releasing a flurry of blows in order to survive what lies beneath. Your path into the unknown may start out with three fierce warriors, but when you learn to possess your enemies, you can challenge the abyss with their skills and combat abilities," reads the Steam entry.

The information about the Linux version is taken from the Steam database, and by no means is it completely certain. The Steam Database is a record of data that describes every Steam game and subscription provided by Valve for the Steam service.

Usually, the new entries are first visible in the Steam Database before their official launch, but there is no indication about a release date.

More details about Abyss Odyssey can be found on the Steam website.
