Chronic-Dev is happy to announce that the only iPad model remaining unsupported in Absinthe 2.0 upon its debut is now jailbreakable using the latest version of the hack – Absinthe 2.0.4.

“Absinthe 2.0.4 is now live, support for iPad2,4 is here,” reads the latest tweet from Chronic-Dev.

Updated several times since its original release at Hack in the Box in Amsterdam, Absinthe 2.0.4 now arrives with support for iPad 1, iPad 2, iPad 3 and iPad 2,4 models – the latest iPad 2 version selling for $100 less with standard storage and better battery life.

The iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, and iPhone 4S are also supported, as are the iPod touch 3rd generation, and the iPod touch 4th generation. The hack applies only to iOS 5.1.1, including the revised build released by Apple last week.
