14 DAY TRIAL // Richard Curtis (“Love, Actually”) wrote and directed “About Time,” a romantic comedy that seems to successfully blend in elements of time-travel with serious drama and, of course, lots of romance and humor.
Starring Rachel McAdams and Domhnall Gleeson as leads, the film sees one lonely man try to use a special ability he inherited from his father – that of traveling back in time to fix wrongs he regrets – to find love and finally have the perfect life he’s always dreamed of.
Bill Nighy, Tom Hollander, and Margot Robbie also star.
Two separate trailers for “About Time” have been released: above is the international version while, embedded below, is the US one.
Both sell this film as the perfect rom-com, with heart and wit in equal parts.
“About Time” will be out in the UK in September, and in the US two months later.
