Abee has made an HTPC case, but that doesn't mean it isn't going to launch larger ones too

People looking for a mid-tower case and have the money to spare for it might be interested in knowing that Abee just launched the J03 case, or at least that the item made it to Europe.

Abee does seem to have a thing for expensive cases, as not only did it release the Acubic M20 yesterday, but has also prepared the J03 mid-tower.

For those that need a reminder, the Abee Acubic M20 is a chassis made for HTPCs and which has a price of 239.90 Euro, about $328.71, based on exchange rates.

Users that want to know whether or not that price is worth it can go here and decide for themselves.

This time, the company has revealed something else, namely a case measuring 427 x 209 x 436 mm, or 16.81 x 8.22 x 17.16 inches.

The form factor means that both micro ATX and ATX motherboards can be placed on the inside.

Speaking of the construction, Abee chose to build the item out of steel, the skeleton at least, while the panels are made of aluminum.

That being said, buyers will find two 5.25-inch drive bays, for holding optical disk drives (ODDs) or accessories like fan controllers and such.

Also, three 3.5-inch HDD bays are on the interior, along with one 2.5-inch tray, for compact storage units, especially SSDs.

Abee also provided a removable bar, which lets more drives be installed vertically.

Furthermore, the chassis features two fans with diameters of 120mm and a rotary speed of 1,000 RPM (rotations per minute).

Finally, one will be able to make graphics cards of up to 370mm in length fit inside this particular chassis.

Unfortunately, the price of 309.90 Euro, or $427.60, is not exactly flattering, especially if one factors in the much cheaper models out there, like the new Raidmax Seiran (described here).
