The identity of a 4-year-old girl found on someone's porch in Anderson County, South Carolina last week has been established, reports say.

She had been left with a sign asking whoever finds her to call Department of Children and Families.

The girl's photo was made public as the police searched for her parents, and it led to her identification as Zoe Brown. After about 2 million Facebook shares, a tip first led investigators to the girl's father.

Independent Mail details that 31-year-old Alonzo Brown was arrested for neglect without bail, as was “little Jane Doe's” mother, 37-year-old Tongela Denise McBride of Marietta, Georgia.

Zoe has been placed in a foster home in Anderson County on Wednesday. Homeowner Roy Campbell, who found her, described never meeting her parents in his life.
