Following his stroke on June 18, Spelling died yesterday at the age of 83, in his mansion in Los Angeles, surrounded by friends and family. His publicist refused to make any comments on how it all happened or to tell the press when the funeral is to take place.

Aaron Spelling was one of the most prolific producers, his work including more than 3,000 shows. Among them, those that made him a legend in Hollywood and worldwide were 'Beverly Hills 90210', 'Melrose Place', 'Charlie's Angels', '7th Heaven' and 'Dynasty'.

The producer is mourned by his two children, his wife and all those that got to know and appreciate him and his work. His existence will never be forgotten as he represented a milestone in television history.
