Aaron Paul was the celebrity surprise guest at the WWE Monday Night Raw in Chicago, driving wrestler Dolph Ziggler right up to the ring before his big fight with Alberto Del Rio.

No, the former “Breaking Bad” star isn’t thinking of switching careers and giving wrestling a go. The appearance was meant to promote his newest movie, “Need for Speed,” which comes out on March 14. As in, next week.

This is why he drove Ziggler inside the Allstate Arena in a new Ford Mustang, that he made sure he revved up to get people’s attention. Never the one to say no to having a good time, at one point during the fight, when Ziggler seemed down and in absolutely no mood to get back up again, Paul also acted as diversion for Del Rio.

You can see his appearance almost in full in the video above. Because the actor yelled at Del Rio and pretended to be calling for him to come at him, Ziggler had time to get up and make a spectacular comeback.

And yes, I know wrestling is scripted and that they’re faking everything, but Aaron Paul is really cool, so just watch the video and enjoy yourself.

The role of Tobey Marshall in “Need for Speed” is the actor’s most high-profile appearance on the big screen after AMC’s critically acclaimed “Breaking Bad” series, on which he played the part of drug addict slash meth cook Jesse Pinkman.
