Aaron Carter, the younger brother of Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys, was in Boston the other day for a show. While there, he got into a violent brawl with fans of another famous boyband, the New Kids on the Block.

Or so he claims on his Twitter feed.

Attached to this article is a photo Aaron posted on his Twitter and Instagram accounts, claiming he got into a fight with NKOTB fans. He’s directing the message to Jordan Knight who sings with the band.

“Eh @jordanKnight this one of your homies? He got his [backside] handed to him last night but his boys got me.. #Soldier,” Aaron writes.

Later on, he confirms having been involved in the melee.

“It's true, I got my [backside] jumped last night. But I'm a soldier.. Errrrr. I'm a 6th degree black belt in Muay Thai.. They lost,” he explains.

As word of this spread online, Aaron returned with more details saying that, while the attackers claimed Boston was the town of NKOTB, he did not blame the band or even think that they were true fans.

TMZ reports that Aaron has no intention of filing a police report because it’s too “girlie” a thing to do.

“Aaron, who posted some gnarly selfies after the fight, tells TMZ he was leaving dinner with a friend last night in beantown, when a huge guy approached him in the parking lot and yelled: ‘I heard you’re doing a show here tomorrow. This is the town of the New Kids’,” the celebrity publication reports.

“Aaron claims three other guys then jumped out of a gold Chevy Malibu... and started the beat down, which came complete with a shot to his face,” TMZ adds.

This would explain the black eye he’s sporting in the photo.

“I think my knuckles might be broken, but that's what they get. People think I'm a pretty little white boy but no way. I think I won. I'm still standing,” Aaron explained for the same media outlet.
