There are definitely a great many so-called gaming laptops on the IT market, but AVADirect decided to aim for the top, or very close to it, when it combined an Intel Core i7 and two DirectX 11 NVIDIA GPUs into the Clevo X7200.

For a mobile PC to qualify as a gaming laptop, it need 'only' have enough resources to easily handle even the most recent of titles at high video settings and resolutions.

AVADirect, however, seems to have gone a significant bit over the bare minimum, cramming more memory, processing and graphics resources than many of its competitors in its latest notebook.

The configuration is centered around an Intel Core i7 central processing unit that boasts the LGA 1366 socket.

The selected CPU is backed by a up to a full 12GB of RAM, more than even many so-called high-end desktops end up using.

AVADirect even threw in hard disk drives or solid state drives, up to three in number to be exact, for a large capacity of internal storage.

What's more, the product comes with a DVD or Blu-ray drive, for multimedia playback and optical storage.

Nevertheless, the major hardware that gives this machine its true power is the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480M mobile graphics card.

This discrete GPU is NVIDIA's most powerful mobile solution with DirectX 11 and can come either alone or in a SLI dual-GPU setup, in this case at least.

It is this graphics solution that handles the laptop's display, which is Full HD-ready (1.920 x 1,080 pixel resolution) and measures 17.3 inches.

Other specifications include a 9-in-1 card reader, WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth and a built-in webcam, among other things.

Those interested in a first-hand view of the specifications or are entertaining thoughts of purchasing this beast need only visit this page, though they will have to part with at least $2,700.
