AVADirect not long ago issued an official announcement in which it disclosed that it had built several new desktops and notebooks, one of the latter being the Clevo P150HM and having already been listed.

That AVADirect finally decided to supply the market with an entire batch of notebooks is not exactly surprising.

In fact, one might say that, if anything, what was surprising was the fact it took so long for the new Clevo gaming machines to be delivered, seeing as how the Sandy Bridge platform itself was released weeks ago.

As if to make up for this, however, the company brought forth a whole collection of such machines instead of just one or two.

The Clevo P170HM and W150HNWQ, the second one only up for pre-order for now, have already been covered and have now been accompanied by the Clevo P150HM.

This product uses one of the new Core i7 Extreme, Core i7 or Core i5 CPUs, the selected chip being backed by up to a solid 16 GB of DDR3-1600 memory.

The Integrated HD graphics solution is, of course, present, but so is the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M discrete card, with 1.5 GB of memory.

For those that want even more power, the GTX 485M 2GB model is also available as an option.

The product also features SATA 3 Gbps HDDs or SSDs, a built-in DVD±R/RW Dual Layer Burner, 802.11a/g/n WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth, a 9-in-1 card reader and a built-in camera.

Finally, there is an HDMI output, a fingerprint reader (for extra security), eSATA, a TV tuner and, of course, an LCD display.

Measuring 15.6 inches, the screen is a LED-backlit glossy liquid crystal display with a native resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels (Full HD).

Those interested in the AVADirect Clevo P150HM can find it on its maker's official website, with a starting price tag of $1,541.11.
