AV Linux 5.0.3 Available for Download

AV Linux, a custom shop modded and rodded Linux-based Operating System, built from a hand-picked selection of available tools including Debian/GNU Linux, the LXDE Desktop Environment and Remastersys, has just reached version 5.0.3.

AV Linux 5.0.3 comes with a new Linux kernel, 3.0.16 (USB duplex fix), and will be the last ISO update in the 5.x series. It also features Iceweasel 9.0.1, gThumb instead of Gpicview, and a ton of hidden scripts.

Highlights of AV Linux 5.0.3:

· Supply 'performance' CPU defaults for AC and 'ondemand' defaults for Laptops running on battery;
· A complete Blappleness-AV dark theme has been provided;
· youtube-dl' script was added;
· Improved 'linuxvst-plugin-pack' for use with Ardour 3 and other Sequencers was introduced;
· Goobox and Gnome Audio were removed;
