Looks like the company isn't happy about the court decision

Two executives from AU Optronics have been found guilty of fixing the prices of LCDs over a period of several years.

The individuals, HB Chen and Hui Hsiung, are two of the five people that were investigated.

The other three are LJ Chen, Hubert Lee and Steven Leung, though the third is not out of the woods yet.

While Chen and Lee were acquitted, the jury was unable to reach a decision in regards to Leung.

At any rate, AU Optronics is determined to get a “not guilty” verdict for all of its executives still in tumultuous waters.

To that end, it will appeal the unfavorable verdict, since it was issued as much against it as a company as it was against those two individuals and its subsidiary.

The court will issue a fine in the next few months, but that will be appealed as well.
