ATV Offroad Fury 2 Hints and Glitches (PS2)

ATV Offroad Fury 2 is the second game in the ATV Offroad Fury franchise, developed by Rainbow Studios. The game is sequel to ATV Offroad Fury and, in its turn, has a sequel in the

form of ATV Offroad Fury 3. The main draw of the game is the ability to take and drive off-road vehicles on a variety of tracks posing different gameplay challenges. The game is more varied that the first in the series, with more ATVs, more mini-games and more championships on offer.

The game also features a host of minigames that you can play: Tag, which involves stealing a ball; Hockey, which is like in real life but with vehicles, and Treasure Hunt, which involves collecting tokens.

This is the first of the games in this series that offers online play capabilities. You can try LAN games, direct connections through FireWire and other network setups to see which works best.

The game features an extended soundtrack that's especially nice to listen to as you are performing aerial moves. Tracks include: Alien Ant Farm - "Courage"; The Baldwin Brothers - "8 Cylinder Jam"; BT - "The Revolution"; Filter - "American Clich�"; Filter - "So I Quit"; Meeker - "Boom Attack"; Stereomud - "Don't Be Afraid"; Deadsy - "The Key To Gramercy Park"; Logan 7 - "Boomshakalaka"; Korn - "Here to Stay"; System of a Down - "Science"; Cypress Hill - "Amplified"; Garbage - "Parade"; Head On - "Nice To Meet You"; Riddlin' Kids - "Pick Up The Pieces"; Quarashi - "Stick 'Em Up"; Lost Prophets - "Shinobi vs. Dragon Ninja"; Systematic - "Thick Skin"; Mekon - "Whats Going On Mekon"; Utah Saints - "Techknowledgy"; Jurassic 5 - "What's Golden".

GAMEPLAY HINTS

360 head spin

While playing the free modes, try and press Select and enter first-person view. Slowly turn the Right Analog-stick and your character should turn his head all the way around.

Avoid drowning

As you sink and the water is barely above your head, pop a wheelie until you fall off and try to keep your head above water.

Restart song selection

Press Start and then go down to the song list. Change it to the desired song. Then, go up to "Restart" and press X. The song will start playing as soon as the countdown begins. Note: This does not work in freestyle mode.

GLITCHES

Get on top of tent

As you are riding in free ride modes, go under an opened box tent with some stripes on it. Repeatedly press L1 R1 to reset on top of it.
