AT&T’s LTE offering might soon be expanded with a new device coming from Apple, leaked info on the company’s plans unveils.

The wireless carrier is introducing LTE micro-SIM cards, which suggests that a device that would support them could be launched in the near future.

For the time being, Apple’s products are the only ones known to need micro-SIMs, hence the supposition that a LTE iOS device might be launched soon.

As for what the actual device to accommodate the cards is all about, rumor has it that it might be a new iPad model, if not the iPhone 5 that has been rumored to arrive ever since last year.

Until some more info on the matter emerges, you can have a look at the screenshots that were published over phoneArena to learn a bit on AT&T’s plans for LTE-capable micro-SIMs.
