HTC TITAN, one of the first smartphones in the world unveiled with the new Windows Phone Mango operating system on board, is set to land on shelves at AT&T soon, and should also be included in the carrier's BOGO deal, it seems.

Mobile phone carrier AT&T has already announced plans to make the HTC TITAN smartphone available for purchase on its airwaves, though the carrier did not offer specific info on when that might happen.

The company did say that the fourth quarter of the year will bring the new large smartphone to its lineup, but no specific release date was unveiled until now, nor details on the price tag the phone might feature.

However, some of the latest reports on the matter suggest that the carrier would plan on making the new smartphone available as part of its Buy One Get One for Free deal.

The info comes from a leaked screenshot that emerged over at WMPoweruser, which does not unveil any other info on the release of this device.

If the rumor pans out, we might see the new smartphone available as part of that deal for the wireless carrier's customers who sign in for a new contract for each of the two devices (the one they are paying for and the one offered for free).

The HTC TITAN comes to the market with a large 4.7-inch touchscreen display, and features a fast 1.5GHz application processor inside.

The handset also comes with an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, as well as with a 1.3MP camera on the front, which should enable users make and receive video calls.

The new Windows Phone also comes with 16GB of internal memory, WiFi and Bbluetooth connectivity, GPS receiver, and the like. As stated above, it runs under the new Mango platform release, and is currently the largest handset to feature Microsoft's mobile platform.
