One of the smartphones that wireless carrier AT&T has been long rumored to plan on bringing to the market in the not-too-distant future is the HTC Desire 610, and a newly leaked press photo with the phone is now available for your viewing pleasure.

We first heard of this device being en route to AT&T in early March, yet no official confirmation on the matter has been provided as of now.

The new leaked image with the device, available courtesy of evleaks.at, is meant to show that the phone is indeed set to make an appearance at the wireless carrier.

Unfortunately, no specific info on when that might happen has been provided as of now, and enthusiasts might actually have to wait several months longer before learning specifics on this.

However, given the fact that HTC made the Desire 610 official quite a while ago, we could assume that AT&T would want to bring it to its network as soon as possible, to ensure that it can still appeal to users.

No details on the price tag that the mobile phone will sport when released on AT&T have been offered as of now, but we might see it available on shelves as an affordable handset.

When made available on this wireless carrier, HTC Desire 610 should sport a 4.7-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a qHD (960 x 540 pixels) resolution, along with BoomSound dual-speakers on the front, for a great viewing and sound experience.

Moreover, the smartphone will be powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, which will be complemented by 1GB of RAM, quite decent for a mid-range device.

HTC Desire 610 also sports 8GB of internal memory, along with a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes, and is powered by a 2040mAh battery.

On the back, the mobile phone sports an 8-megapixel camera capable of recording videos in full HD resolution, complemented by a 1.3MP front-facing camera for making video calls while on the go.

These are the hardware specs that Desire 610 was made public with, and chances are that they will not change in the AT&T version of the device.

In fact, the newly leaked press photo with the phone shows it featuring the Sense 6.0 user interface, which was unveiled back in March alongside the HTC One M8. Chances are that the Android 4.4.2 KitKat or a newer platform iteration is present on the phone right from the start.

Hopefully, AT&T will make the HTC Desire 610 official sooner rather than later, so keep an eye on this space to learn specific info on what the handset will have to offer.
