Mobile phone carrier AT&T is getting ready for the launch of a new Android-based tablet PC on its network, none other than the Galaxy Note 8.0, which has just received the necessary approvals from the FCC.

The tablet was spotted at the feds with 850 / 1900 GSM radios packed inside, as well as with support for LTE Bands 2, 4, 5, and 17, which makes it fit for AT&T’s network in the country, as Engadget notes.

No official confirmation on the slate’s arrival at the wireless carrier has been provided as of now, but it might not be too long before that happens, that’s for sure.

Galaxy Note 8.0 features a 1.6GHz quad-core processor inside, 2GB of RAM, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, GPS receiver, and a 4600 mAh battery, while running under Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
