BlackBerry Z10, the first smartphone to arrive on shelves with the new BlackBerry 10 operating system loaded on top, is now available for purchase through Best Buy at only $49 (€37.5) with the signing of a two-year contract agreement with AT&T.

The smartphone was launched at $199 (€152), but weak sales determined the operator and the nationwide retailer to cut its price tag significantly, The Wall Street Journal reports.

The price cut was performed only a few days after the device had finally started to receive the BlackBerry 10.1 OS upgrade at the carrier.

Those who would like to grab the phone at the lower price tag should head over to this page at Best Buy to learn more on the matter. On AT&T’s website, the handset can be seen listed at $99 (€76).
