Wireless carrier AT&T is gearing up for the release of Nokia Lumia 900 on its network, the first Windows Phone device from Nokia to pack LTE connectivity.

To enable users to take full advantage of what the device has to offer, AT&T and Nokia are delivering units to developers, so that they would start building applications for the device.

At least one developer received such a device, a recent article on WPCentral notes. However, it is not certain what devs need to do to receive a Nokia Lumia 900 unit.

One way to get one would be to attend Nokia’s job recruitment day in San Diego on March 15th. There are 100 new positions at their offices there, and there will be Lumia 900 giveaways every 30 minutes, it seems.

AT&T’s customers will be able to purchase the new device starting with April 22nd, the latest reports on the matter suggest. Stay tuned for more.
