Wireless carrier AT&T will have a busy holiday season this year, that’s for sure. Not only did the company announce a host of new Android handsets for the coming months, but it also unveiled both Windows Phone 8 smartphones and Windows 8 devices for its users.

In fact, the carrier will make available on its network both Windows 8 and Windows RT tablets, coming from Samsung and ASUS, respectively.

Samsung’s ATIV Smart PC will bring Windows 8 goodness to AT&T in a device packing an 11.6’’ HD PLS display, Intel Clover Trail 1.5 GHz dual-core CPU and 64GB of internal storage.

There will also be the ASUS VivoTab RT, with a Tegra 3 CPU inside, a 10.1-inch multi-touch Super IPS display, 32GB of internal memory, and support for AT&T’s 4G LTE network.

Both devices will hit shelves in time for the holidays, so stay tuned to learn more on them.
