The slate will be available for as low as $0.99 on AT&T Next

Major carrier AT&T has just announced it will offer Asus MeMO Pad 7 LTE tablet through its online and brick & mortar stores beginning April 10.

The slate will be available for purchase for as low as $0.99 on AT&T Next. The MeMO Pad 7 LTE can also be had for $8.75 per month for 20 months with the AT&T Tablet Installment plan, or $74.99 with a two-year agreement.

According to AT&T, customers can also add the Asus MeMO Pad 7 LTE to a new or existing Mobile Share Value plan for just $10 per month.

Ma Bell carrier also confirmed Asus' tablet would be available through GoPhone prepaid options, with no annual contract requires. The GoPhone version of MeMO Pad 7 LTE will be available at AT&T stores beginning April 24 for only $174.99.

It's also worth mentioning that customers can pre-pay for 2GB of data service for $25 per month, 5GB for $50 per month, or 8GB for $75 per month.

Android 4.4.4 KitKat and 16GB of storage inside

The MeMO Pad 7 LTE ships with Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system out of the box, and it is likely to remain on this version until end of life.

On the inside, the tablet is equipped with a 1.3GHz quad-core Intel Atom processor, which is complemented by 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. Users will be able to further expand storage up to 64GB via microSD card slot.

As the name suggests, Asus' tablet comes with LTE support, while the 7-inch HD IPS+ display features a 178-degree wide viewing angle and 1280 x 800 pixels resolution.

The slate packs a 5-megapixel camera on the back with many shooting features like Time Rewind and Selfie. Last but not least, Asus MeMO Pad 7 LTE has an anti-fingerprint coating which is supposed to keep the tablet safe from smudges.
