AT&T has just confirmed it has started to deploy the hotly-anticipated Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for Motorola ATRIX HD.

The smartphone was released back in July with Ice Cream Sandwich onboard, but Motorola announced at that time that ATRIX HD would receive a Jelly Bean upgrade.

According to the carrier, the update is now pushed OTA (over the air), which means Motorola ATRIX HD owners can get it by heading to Settings / About phone / Software updates.

Aside from upgrading the phone’s software to Android 4.1, the update brings many new features and improvements, including Google Now, Drive Smart, Enhanced Voice Search, Quick Settings and more.
