Wireless carrier AT&T has made available for download a new software update for the owners of HTC One smartphones on its network, providing them with a series of LTE enhancements, it seems.

The new firmware, available for download over the air as build version 1.26.502.15, has been detailed on this page on HTC’s website.

Users interested in downloading and installing the update should head over to All apps > Settings > About > Software Information on their handsets and hit Software update to grab it.

HTC recommends for the download to be performed over a WiFi network, and notes that the phone’s battery should be charged at least at 30 percent.

In addition to having the option to download the software OTA, users are also able to perform a manual update, but they will lose all data on their devices, HTC claims. More info on the matter can be found on the aforementioned support webpage.
