Customers to provide feedback on network experience via the app’s interface

The leading provider of wireless telephony services in the US, AT&T, has seen its fifth iPhone application approved in the App Store. The app, housed in the Utilities segment, offers customers the means to provide feedback regarding their experience with the network.

APPLICATION DESCRIPTION

AT&T Mark the Spot is an application that provides customers a means to provide feedback on network user experience to AT&T.

Features

- Simplicity of operation; - Submit a real time report capturing local GPS coordinates at time and place of event; - Submit a report after the fact when a customer is not at the place of event; - Submit a report of dropped call, failed call, lack of coverage, data service failure, or poor voice quality; - Submit optional specific comments about an event; - Receive an SMS acknowledgment that the reported event was sent and received successfully.

AT&T adds that the application will help contribute towards providing its customers with the best network experience possible, noting that it greatly appreciates the use of its latest addition to the App Store. The app also boasts support for Maps integration to pinpoint locations where a network incident may have occurred.

As noted above, AT&T has several other applications posted on the App Store, including one for navigation, one for finding jobs, and other-purpose apps. AT&T Mark the Spot requires iPhone OS 3.0 or later and is not compatible with the iPod touch.
