HTC Jetstream, the 10.1-inch Android-based tablet PC that was unveiled to the world only a few weeks ago, is now up for sale on AT&T's network.

The new device runs under Google's Android 3.1 Honeycomb operating system and comes with support for the wireless carrier's 4G LTE network, being the very first tablet to pack this feature.

Powered by a 1.5 GHz dual core application processor with enhanced support for multitasking, the new device will certainly prove a great option for all those who would like to own a large tablet with great entertainment capabilities.

The HTC Jetstream was packed with 1 GB of RAM and with 32 GB of internal memory, along with a microSD memory card slot that will offer users the possibility to easily add up to 32GB of external storage into the mix.

The tablet PC features an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with auto focus, LED flash and HD video recording capabilities, complemented by a 1.3MP camera on the front, to enable video calling on the go.

The screen that HTC Jetstream was packed with can deliver a WXGA (1280 x 800 pixel) 150 ppi resolution, and offers support for the playback of high-definition videos.

The device also comes with GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz connectivity, HSPA+/HSPA 850/1900/2100 MHz, and 700/AWS LTE capabilities. WiFi and Bluetooth technology was included with it as well.

The new device packs a 7300 mAh battery inside, and can deliver up to 12 hours of web browsing, or up to 37.5 days of standby time. HTC Jetstream measures 7 x 9.87 x 0.51 inches and weighs in at 25 ounces. The tablet PC was listed on AT&T's website here. It features a price tag of $699.99 upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement with the wireless carrier.

There are not too many users who can enjoy access to AT&T's LTE network at the moment, but the carrier already promised expanded LTE coverage in the coming months.
