Wireless carrier AT&T has just announced the launch of three new Android-based mobile phones from Motorola, namely the Motorola BRAVO, FLIPOUT and FLIPSIDE. All three handsets are expected to arrive on the carrier's airwaves before the end of the year, featuring price tags ranging from $79.99 to $129.99 on contract.

According to the wireless carrier, the new mobile phones come with Wi-Fi connectivity options, offering users the possibility to enjoy access to the entire AT&T national Wi-Fi network (with over 23,000 hotspots) as part of a data plan.

All three devices come with Android 2.1 on board, on top of which Motorola pre-loaded the latest version of MOTOBLUR, providing users with a custom experience.

When it comes to the availability of these devices, here's what AT&T has to say:

- MOTOROLA FLIPOUT will be available for $79.99 with a two service agreement and 2 year smartphone data plan beginning October 17 in AT&T stores, online and in business channels. (No rebate required) - MOTOROLA BRAVO will be available for $129.99 with a two service agreement and 2 year smartphone data plan in AT&T stores, online and in business channels by this holiday period. (No rebate required) - MOTOROLA FLIPSIDE will be available for $99.99 with a two service agreement and 2 year smartphone data plan in AT&T stores, online and in business channels by this holiday period. (No rebate required)

The new additions to AT&T's lineup should strengthen the carrier's offering in the smartphone area, providing users with more options when it comes to purchasing a new device.

With the new smartphones, AT&T will have a number of eight Android-based devices available for its users before the end of the ongoing year.

Not to mention that the new smartphones come with Motorola's enhanced MOTOBLUR solution, offering fast access to social networking updates, and being able to keep people connected at all times with their friends and family.

“We want nothing less than the best smartphone line-up on the nation's fastest mobile broadband network,” said Michael Woodward, vice president, Mobile Phone Portfolio, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets.

“These diverse new Android devices from Motorola add diversity to our Android platform and provide more options for our customers.”
