AT&T customers are still waiting for the promised Windows Phone 7.8 update for their Lumia smartphones, but Nokia seems to have something else in mind.

The Finnish company has just announced that a new software version, 1232.5957.1308.0001, is now pushed OTA (over the air) to AT&T Lumia 920 devices.

Although the handset maker did not release an official changelog for this update, the folks over at MyNokiaBlog have reached out to Nokia for more details.

According to Nokia, the following changes have been included in update 1308 for Lumia 920: “updated proximity sensor parameters, improved automatic display brightness adjustment & performance improvements.”

AT&T Lumia 920 owners will be able to upgrade to the latest software version by going to Settings / Phone update / Check for update. Keep in mind that it requires Wi-Fi connection.
