Wireless carrier AT&T and LG Mobile Phones announced on Monday the launch of a new handset in their line of appealing phones, namely the LG Shine II. According to the duo, the new device, which follows the impressive success registered by the predecessor LG Shine, comes with a glossy exterior and can deliver versatile utility, making a fashionably smart statement.

The new mobile phone will be exclusively available for purchase from AT&T, proving itself as a great combination between design and functionality. What the LG Shine II is capable to deliver to users includes an elegant slider design, coupled with polished round edges and a stainless steel construction. In addition, users will be able to enjoy the phone's 2.2-inch wide mirror LCD, its maker states.

The LG Shine II comes with support for Java 2.0, and enables videos to be downloaded and watched on its display. Moreover, it includes music player with customizable equalizer, as well as music recognition capabilities, ringtone creator, and music download features. Not to mention that the device also sports built-in stereo Bluetooth wireless technology support, and that it can offer crystal clear sound to its owners.

The handset includes seamlessly transition between data and call functions as well, and offers e-mail, text, picture, and instant messaging capabilities so that users can stay connected at all times. AT&T Navigator support is further included in the package, delivering up-to-date traffic information and turn-by-turn directions, as well as traffic monitoring.

A 2.0-megapixel photo snapper with flash and video recording capabilities, as well as an image editor are yet other features the LG Shine II comes around with. Starting November 22, all AT&T customers will be able to purchase the new handset either from the AT&T retail stores around the country, or from the carrier's website. The price tag for LG Shine II has been set at $119.99 upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement and after a $50 mail-in rebate.
