Samsung Galaxy S4 mini, the smaller version of South Korean mobile phone maker’s latest Android-based flagship device, might arrive in the United States on shelves at AT&T, the latest reports on the matter suggest.

The smartphone has just received the necessary approvals from the FCC with support for AT&T’s LTE network, which points at its upcoming availability at the carrier.

In fact, the handset passed FCC testing with LTE (on the 700MHz and AWS bands) and HSPA (850MHz and 1,900MHz) frequencies packed inside, both used by AT&T. However, support for T-Mobile’s network hasn’t been included in this model.

As Engadget notes, last year’s Galaxy SIII mini wasn’t released in the United States, but things might change when it comes to the newer handset. Unfortunately, no specific info on when the device might be released has been provided.
