14 DAY TRIAL // Today, mobile phone carrier AT&T announced the upcoming availability of new monthly plans, to provide a wider range of options for its users.
Starting with late August, both new and existing AT&T customers will be able to benefit from the new plans, which provides them with a single bucket of data for their devices.
Basically, users will be able to take advantage of this data on their smartphones, tablet PCs and other compatible devices, while also enjoying unlimited minutes and text messages.
“AT&T Mobile Share plans make it easy for customers to manage their data, voice minutes and texting, without needing to keep track of multiple plans,” the wireless carrier notes.
AT&T provides users with the possibility to go either for one of the new share plans from the wireless carrier, or to choose an existing individual or family plan.
“Current customers are not required to switch to the new plans, but can choose to do so without a contract extension,” the wireless carrier also notes.
At the same time, the operator announced that there are no changes brought to its device upgrade policy. Users will be able to upgrade to AT&T’s best device price without having to switch plans.
According to the wireless services provider, the new plans will also become available for its business customers.
The new AT&T Mobile Share plans enable customers to choose the amount of data they want to have each and every month.
Additionally, they are offered the possibility to choose a number of up to 10 devices that can be attached to the shared plan. One of these devices has to be a smartphone.
“Each plan includes tethering and unlimited domestic calls and texts for smartphones and basic or quick messaging phones. The larger the data bucket you choose, the less you pay per gigabyte and the less you pay for each smartphone added to the shared plan,” AT&T also announced.
“AT&T Mobile Share allows customers to essentially build a plan to fit their devices and usage. Customers who are more data-centric can choose a larger data bucket. Customers who typically use more voice than data can add multiple smartphones and basic phones and opt for a smaller data bucket.”
Mobile Share with Unlimited Talk & Text plans include from 1 GB to as much as 20 GB of monthly data, and feature price tags ranging from $40 to $200 per month, with up to $45 per month for each added smartphone. Tablets, data cards, laptops and messaging phones cost less.
