Mobile phone operator AT&T has just announced a new offer aimed at its prepaid customers, in the form of a new GoPhone feature that delivers Unlimited Talk and Text. Starting with October 12, AT&T's GoPhone prepaid customers will be able to enjoy the new offer that the wireless carrier announced for them, and that provides them with the the freedom to talk and text all they want for only $60.

“We recognize GoPhone customers have a need for unlimited calling or texting without the commitment of an annual contract,” Judy Cavalieri, vice president of Prepaid Products for AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets, said. “The new Unlimited Talk and Text package enhances our prepaid options to give customers the flexibility of a national network with no contract requirement.”

According to the mobile-phone carrier, the new GoPhone prepaid feature package comes towards users with unlimited, nationwide calling, as well as with unlimited texting to any number in the United States, while also offering texting to Mexico, Canada and other 100 countries all around the world. Moreover, the new package also offers unlimited IM, picture and video messages to AT&T's customers.

The GoPhone option comes to AT&T's users without compromise on the carrier's national wireless network, the company has added. Users can also choose from a wide range of devices the one that appeals to them the most, as AT&T comes to them with various models, including full-keyboard devices like the LG Neon.

The wireless carrier has also announced that its GoPhone customers on the Simple Rate plan will only need to call 611 from their handset to benefit from the new Unlimited Talk and Text package. Starting with October 12, the company will provide more details on the new offer on its website. In addition, the carrier says that “Pick Your Plan” options are available for its users, enabling them to pay in advance for a monthly rate plan, without the need of a contract, credit check or deposit.
