HTC One X has just hit shelves in the United States via AT&T. The smartphone is now available for purchase for as low as 199.99 USD (155 EUR) with a new two-year agreement.

However, Android enthusiasts who are willing to wait a couple more days in order to get the HTC One X a bit cheaper can check out Amazon’s online store.

It appears that the retailer offers the AT&T HTC One X for only 149.99 USD (115 EUR) for both new customers and customers eligible for upgrades.

The bad news is that Amazon has listed the smartphone as backordered, which means the HTC One X will be shipped in 8 to 9 days.

The smartphone will be delivered with optional AT&T services such as YPmobile, myAT&T, AT&T Navigator, AT&T U-verse Live TV, AT&T FamilyMap, as well as AT&T Code Scanner.

One of the first HTC phones to come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box, the One X has been controversial since its launch on the market.

Although the smartphone was recently released, it has already received a few maintenance updates, which were meant to fix lots of the bugs reported by owners.

Still, the One X is considered one of the most powerful Android phones available on the market, thanks to its dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.5 Ghz, which is complemented by an Adreno 225 GPU and 1GB of RAM.

The only downsides might the lack of a microSD card slot for memory expansion, so users will be left with only 16GB of internal memory, as well as 25GB free cloud storage with Dropbox.

Last but not least, AT&T HTC One X comes with LTE support and a large 4.7-inch Super IPS LCD2 capacitive touchscreen display with Corning Gorilla Glass coating.
