HTC Holiday leaked in the wild a few months ago as one of the first LTE smartphones to be launched by AT&T.

Although the phone is expected to be released globally by the end of the year, it appears that the Holiday will be an AT&T exclusive and will it go by HTC Waikiki upon launch.

The information has yet to be confirmed, but the recent pictures leaked courtesy to the guys over at Engadget show the main hardware configuration of the smartphone.

According to the latest hearsay, both LTE-enabled smartphones HTC Holiday and Samsung Impulse 4G will be announced by AT&T in the following weeks.

We already reported about the Samsung Impulse 4G, but details about the phone's specs have yet to emerge.

Fortunately, this is not the case with the HTC Holiday, as most of the phone's technical information has just leaked along with a set of new pictures.

By the look of it, the Holiday is a slightly upgraded HTC Sensation, but its design is a bit different, especially on the back.

HTC Holiday is equipped with a dual-core 1.2GHz processor and features an astonishing 4.5-inch qHD capacitive touchscreen display.

Furthermore, the phone boasts an 8-megapixel camera on the back that features dual LED flash and autofocus, along with HD video recording capabilities, and a secondary 1.3-megapixel front facing camera for video calls.

The phone packs 1GB of RAM, WiFi b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0, as well as LTE support for AT&T'network.

Software-wise, HTC Holiday will be delivered with Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread on board, along with HTC Sense 3.0 user interface on top.

There is no confirmation yet, but HTC Holiday may include Beats hardware, following the agreement between the two companies.

No word about the phone's exact release date or pricing, but there's a high chance that the Holiday (or Waikiki) will be announced sometime next month.
