US mobile phone operator AT&T announced today the introduction of new features for its subscribers. The new AT&T A-List with Rollover feature, expected to become available starting with September 20, will enable users to enjoy “unlimited mobile calling to and from five “VIP” domestic phone numbers” without having to pay more than they do now. As soon as the new feature becomes available, users will have the possibility to manage their A-List online on the carrier's website.

“This is an incredible value for many of our customers that essentially lets them ‘double dip’,” said David Christopher, chief marketing officer, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets. “Not only will they not use minutes from their monthly plan when they call their A-List numbers, but our unique Rollover feature means they can keep those minutes for use in future months. Nobody else is going this far in letting customers stretch their minutes. Others may let you save minutes, but only AT&T lets you keep them.”

According to AT&T, its subscribers that have individual Nation plans of $59.99 or higher are offered the possibility to choose a number of five domestic phone numbers which they can call at all times, no matter whether landlines or wireless numbers. In addition, the operator also announced that FamilyTalk customers that have plans of $89.99 or more would have the opportunity to select up to ten such numbers, and that any person in the FamilyTalk plan would also benefit from the new feature.

AT&T's customers will find all the necessary tools for adding or changing numbers on their A-List with Rollover on the company's site. While changes can be performed at all times, users should wait for 24 hours for them to take effect. At the same time, they will also receive a confirmation email for security purposes. It should be mentioned that all numbers need to be entered online at MyWireless Account on AT&T's website. More details on the new feature can be found here (PDF) and here.

Commercial is wack! The A-List is everything other carriers offer. Was that a "Trickmercial"?Fave 5 includes unlimitted calls to those in fave's and another offers unlimited to 10.....the fact that the ".minutes" rollover?... means its unlimited? Commercial makes no sennse. Who views and apprroves for AT&T.. it really shouldn't have passesd the application process! Bad call by Executives, etc. The recession has a lot of us. Using poor judgement! Wrong approach to making money!?
